Just a quick test to see if the email-to-post thing works. This is a very cool feature to use, so that I don’t always have to log in to the blog to make an update. I’ll have to be sure to tell my friends about it too, that way they can save some time. I have a former colleague who’s going to go on a round-the-world trip, so we’re all encouraging her to set up a blog so that she doesn’t have to send out the million person email all the time. Another friend set up her own blog so that she can keep everyone up to date on all the wacky happenings of her life. She used to do a newsletter by email, but this is a much better way for her, and all us readers too.

Here I am again, fresh from moving into my new pad, all hooked up to this here Internet, and ready to go!
Right now I’m tired from moving boxes n’ things into the new place, rearranging furniture and trying to live off of crappy pre-packaged food, but that’s okay. Because I’m in my new pad! It was a little lonely those first couple of days, as I sat in the semi-darkness, listening to the radio and waiting for bedtime, but now all is well. I’ve got the cable hooked up, the Internet hooked up, and am raring to go.
