It’s done!
Yes, the blankie imperfecta is finished!
(Thanks to my sister who acted as photographer extraordinaire.)
I’m quite pleased with the result, as it’s the perfect size for snuggling under while watching tv on the couch, and is nice and soft. I used Bernat Satin in mocha, burgundy, evergreen, admiral, aubergine and silver. The border is in ebony, which I think adds a nice touch. I had lots of fun knitting this up. (and you can’t even see the imperfections.)
(that’s me, shivering out in the snow in the backyard.)
I look forward to starting my next project, a couple of baby blankets for some friends with little ones on the way.

Congratulations! Isn’t it a great feeling when something is done and we can feel quite proud of it! It’s a lovely blanket (I LOVE blankets). Wish you lots of fun with your next projects!
Great blanket! Oh, to have one to snuggle under. But there are so many nephew knits in front of me. Argh. At any rate, you’re right- if you hadn’t mentioned imperfections, I never would have guessed! Genius!
