The Summer is Magic

Wasn’t that the name of a dance tune from the mid-90’s? I have a vague memory of dancing to that one in club way back when.

Anyways, it appears summer has finally arrived here in Toronto, and I am happy about that. Glad that it’s not gotten super-humid (yet), and is a comfortable and beautiful 27C. Just perfect. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the weather keeps up on Saturday as I am off to my friend Suzanne’s for some back patio hanging out. I haven’t seen her since February, so Melanie & I are going to hang out, eat some food, drink some beer and just have some fun.

Otherwise things are good here in the Big Smoke. My knitting project continues quite well. It takes me almost 4 or 5 days of knitting to do a single log now, which is crazy. Melanie was amazed when, after asking me how big I was going to make the blanket, I told her “Until I finish all the yarn I bought for it.” She was impressed with that.
